| Background: | Purpose: The purpose of this course is to enable students to learn to make artworks and develop an understanding of Art. Emphasis is on the Art of New Zealand and the European influence. Content: Sources of motivation for making artworks arising from: 1. Different levels of experience, 2. Different levels of knowledge including: (i) technical knowledge about materials and equipment, (ii) knowledge about appropriate ways of working, and (iii) knowledge about form, processes, media and culture | ||||||

Friday 10th September - students released 1.50pm
On Friday 10 September students will be released at 1.50pm so that staff can have professional development. As usual, we appreciate students going straight home and not into town. Buses will run as normal and the Library will be open until 4.30pm.
