Background:

Students will learn about:- 1) Drawing - gain a perceptual awareness to this level and beyond. 2) Work in different media to scale required at NCEA Level 3. 3) Develop ideas on the paradigm - with awareness of practised art methods. 4) Produce finished artworks - through "drawing in" and "drawing out" of ideas, and working in media of paint and print of all types. 5) Learn about exhibition practice.

Entry Requirements:

12 credits in ART2.

Course Fees:

$50 - students supply sketchbooks, paper art materials.
