Background: To learn about the languages of music, develop ideas in music, communicate and interpret meaning in music and understand music in context at an advancing level. Performance, Composition, Aural Skills and Musical Knowledge. Assessment by three performances, three compositions, three groups of set works, and an Aural test.

Entry Requirements: 3 Years previous instrumental tuition and theory and completing MUS1. Currently learning an instrument.
Course Fees: $15 per term if learning from a tutor at Wanganui High School plus $60 instrument hire if using School instruments ($100 for hire of Saxophone). $15 take home workbook and DVD.

Friday 10th September - students released 1.50pm
On Friday 10 September students will be released at 1.50pm so that staff can have professional development. As usual, we appreciate students going straight home and not into town. Buses will run as normal and the Library will be open until 4.30pm.
