Wanganui High School Senior Students
Wanganui High School is a modern, state funded, co-educational school of approximately 1800 students and over 100 staff, which prides itself on caring for individual students in a quality academic environment.

The school provides a balanced education for its students from Year 9 through to Year 13 in a caring educational environment.

Junior Drama Class

Wanganui High School is situated in Purnell Street which is in the suburb of Springvale. (It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Wanganui's main shopping area from school.)

The school occupies 12 hectares and consists of 12 single-storey teaching blocks. There is also a canteen, gymnasium, library, performing arts area and a unit designed for students with special learning needs (Te Atawhai).
